ABOUT ME

Who doesn’t love butter?  Glorious, grass-fed, raw, cultured butter?  Well, I think it’s one of nature’s perfect foods!  Everything tastes better with butter, and that is just a well known fact! The truth is, it’s actually good for you!  Essential actually.  Our bodies need all that good cholesterol and saturated fat.  Especially babies and growing children.  Heck, everyone needs it!

Hi!  My name is Christine and I’ve always been a lover of butter.  Thankfully after I read the research of Dr. Weston A. Price a few years back, it was like I had been given permission to eat this amazing food again, and not feel guilty about it!  Butter, along with other “forbidden” foods like eggs, raw milk, cream, cheese, bacon, and fatty meats, are all excellent, nutrient dense foods that my family eats and enjoys on a regular basis.  But, not the kind from the grocery store.  We are so lucky to have access to these products from local farmers who know how to grow the food right!  Humanely, organically, sustainably, on pasture, in the sunshine (or rain), without chemicals, drugs, or genetic modification.

I live in Cambridge, Ontario, with my three amazing children and my hard working husband. I am also the local chapter leader for the Weston A. Price Foundation.  It is my job to help others find these life-giving foods and I am privileged to be able to do so.

This blog is meant to be a reflection on how traditional cultures have influenced our lives. We strive to live naturally, and follow many of these traditional principles as we journey towards our best health possible.
